Rumor has it that Porkchop has a huge tomato going but is just not talking about it. I also heard he was looking for red paint that would stick on the surface of a pumpkin, sort of like a disguise. Guys, if you can't grow tomatoes, try cucumbers next year.

A few little piggies are bursting their hammocks tonight. More than 2" of rain fell in 45 minutes tonight. A certain grower is really worried. So exciting to watch this play out in our backyard!

Why remain anonymous? If I had a tomatoes that was around 10 pounds, I would have posted it already! I would have even put it on social media!

Of course, I don't, but I seriously don't understand the point of remaining anonymous.

Nice!
What's the Circumfrence? Looks large to me, only a little bit bigger than my biggest ;) (no more than 35 inches)
Best of luck!

27x27.25.....I’m guessing that shape has a .0053 multiplier...so let’s say at the end, 27.5x27.5x25x.00053= let it go red red and it’s got a shot. Best of luck!!!...nail biter

Not never, just not for a while. I only started growing giants 3 years ago, and tomatoes was this year. I do have seed with good genetics with the 5.71 Lambchop, as a parent, but no experience. It took you much longer than that to grow your 9.65. Just saying.

I did measure again yesterday, and got 13, 12 and 11 on my three tomatoes. Grown about 2 each in 3-4 days. So I have a chance!

Kerry you are right it is me. Hoping she would keep going but after a hot week it has started to blush. Hard to get a good true measurement hanging in the sling with vines in the way.

Hi Marv this is the one that Eddy gave notice on. A little early but she is still looking good. No 10 pounder for sure. Grown from the Lambchop 5.71. If she makes it to the scale I will be happy.

Thanks everyone

Two biggest opposite cc’s...and smallest Cc where them stem is...Thanks jack!

What I got was 28 X 27 X 26. Again the vines and sling were in the way and included in the measurements. I feel the real measurements would be more like 27 X 26 X 25. Will not be sure until it is off the vine and on the table.

A full inch in all directions is a big difference in weight...let’s say yer still sandbagging us and you get 27.5x 26.5x 25.5...let’s go middle of the road multiplyer- .00050....that would be 9.29...let it go red red, water heavy morning of and watch closely...???...never say never...some shapes are just heavier. Best of luck jack, great to see the success you are having!!!!were rooting for you!!!

It is still growing. It is still in the sling so it is hard to get a true measurement. I got a circumference of 29.5 inches this morning. How accurate this measurement is will be determined when we get it off the vine and on the table.
