Team Canuckle Heads

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to pass on this news.

Last night my good friend "Zeke" Mike Demars suddenly passed away. He was a good   Husband, Father and Grandfather. He was a great friend to me and everyone who new him.

My condolences goes out to Cindy and all his family.

Rest in peace Buddy.

Mike was a great teacher and an awesome source of support here on this site. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on in all he shared with us! My compassion and prayers go to Mike's family.

Oh wow. Absolutely terrible news. I've only known Zeke for one season & only through the '21 tomato Team Challenge interactions. He was always so supportive of my rookie efforts and progress. His trajectory in growing giant Toms was straight upwards. His contributions to this forum and sport will be sorely missed. Really saddened. Praying for his family and friends.

I just received an email a couple of days ago from Zeke about this years team competition. He was apologizing about a delay in answering because of health issues, but the email was so upbeat and encouraging that I was feeling good after reading it. The tomato world will miss him very much.

What sad news, Zeke you will be missed! We were sharing some wonderful text messages the day he passed. I had sent some of his EASTER EGG seeds out in this years seed exchange. I think it is a good year to plant one and think of Zeke along the grow. RIP Zeke!
