Ok, my tomato plant is 5 inches tall. It has 2 fruit forming. And all of the bottom leaves are drying up and dying. What's the problem? It has good soil and PLENTY of sunshine. I had grubs in my pumpkin sprouts but they never touched the tomato plant. But I am not sure.

Pick off the fruit. A plant that size can't support fruit.

Kenward you need to get yourself a good gardening book for your area. Go check out your Library if possible

Ok, i dont think i've ever seen a 5 inch tomato plant bearing fruit.. dont worry about the bottom leaves drying up and falling off, that's natural..all tomatos do that..

Well you'll just have to believe me. There were two fruit forming. Well I tore them off and now I am hoping it will start growing more.

There's something not right about a 5" tomato plant that has "fruit" on it.
Either it's....#1 a mutated plant #2 they really weren't fruit, or #3 you have a plant that's mature at 5" which means it wasn't grown properly and is therefore useless anyway.
You should get a decent gardening book and find a *local*, experienced gardener that can look at these problems you're having with plants and grubs....things just aren't right at the Kenward gardens.

A determinate medium sized tomato plant. You will just have to believe me. All I have is my word for you guys to rely on. It is 5 inches tall, and it was growing 2 tomatoes until I tore them off.

Many plants, pumpkins included will produce fruit if stressed enough. In an attempt to continue the species.

I have seen plants at the Mcdonalds nursey in Hampton Virginia about 10-12 inches tall with fruit on them never seen anything like that before. my plants i started from seed are in the 3 foot plus range just now starting to grow fruit.
Kenward is there anyway you can post a pic. or two would love see that plant.
let me know how the plant does this year..
