In 2007 Vincent Domingo entered the Newsday Great Long Island Tomato Challenge and won first place. The tomato was 3.88 lbs (3.14Oz)
Billy King contacted Domingo, who sent him a bunch of seeds, and King started growing the Domingo.
In 2009 He grew a 3.25 and in 2010 he grew a 2.775. Here it is where I need Help.
I can't find any SOLID connection between King and Lovelace. Lovelace back in those days was growing mainly Big Zac and in 2011 he grew a 2.48 Domingo. I've seen somewhere that the Lovelace 2.48 is listed as an offspring of King 3.5 - 2009. (Can't find any reliable info on the 2009 King 3.5).
So, if there is any connection between King and Lovelace it could be the 2010 King 2.775 or the 2009 King 3.25.
I'm really intrigued by the entire story.
Any Help is highly appreciated.

As far as I’ve heard, Vincent shared seeds with Sam. Sam grew the 2.48. Led to the Whal 4.55.. etc..just what I heard though..you know how that goes…interesting side note..Vincent’s grandchildren still enter the Long Island contest.. I believe the young kid won a year w grampas seeds. I have email info for the family if you wanted to reach out.

The connection between Billy King and Vincent Domingo (Including the seeds exchange) is documented and reported in the Long Island News Day.
Sophia Fasano (now about 14 years old) is Vincent's Grandchild and has been competing since 2017 (She topped the 7-12 youth when she was 7 years old).
If Vincent shared seeds with Sam how come Bill King is often listed as the parent of Lovelace 2.48?
Somewhere on BP I read that Lovelace may have obtained seeds from Glen Knox of Wheeling West Virginia, who set a state record at 3.65 in 2010.
As I said the entire story is extremely fascinating and it would be nice to complete the puzzle with reliable information.

Received Information from Sam Lovelace. Sam Wrote "The 2.48 Lovelace was grown from the 3.5 Billy King of Mastic Beach NY . Hope this helps". Thank you Sam. Case closed.
