My tomato plants are showing signs of sickness. First little black spots followed by yellowing leaves which eventually turn brown/die. All of my tomato plants have this nastiness. I took a sample to the local nursery today. They told me it is tomato blight. Lovely. He told me to cut off as much of the infected stems as possible. He gave me "tomato blight control" with an active ingredient called Manganese ethylene bisdithiocarbamate and nutri-cal which is a chelated liquid calcium. Doesn't that sound delicious? I have no idea if this stuff will work. I'm hoping it doesn't spread to my cucumbers and pumpkins. Can it? Any insight is appreciated.

Check some Bayer products to control the blight. It worked for my father last year. Normally when the blight once hit your plants it´s over.
Pumpkin plants however will not be affected. Blight is no curcubita disease.

Correct. The blights that infect Tomatoes are specific to Tomato & don't cross to other species. (I had to look that one up - LOL)
