What is the best cantaloupe seed? I have some Edwards 50# and Gibson 50#. Has there been anything big grown from them?

how long are we looking at to grow these out. just wandering how to figure when to plant these for certain weight-offs or just plants them and have them certified when they are done.

beeman -- IIRC tretop had mentioned the cut off for the contest being in November (unless everyone had finished before that) - since they tend to rot pretty quick once finished it would be hard to time them to get to a weigh off date so just get them weighed once they finish and get some pics of the weight with the fruit on the scale, length and girth with tape around the fruit and submit to a diary page.
