hey everyone im pulling my plant it is almost dead ,do theese cantelope grow good in the fall??? is it too late to start another one??? if i grow it all of august and polinate in 1st, week sept. will it grow into oct . or do u need the summer sun for it to grow??? thanks pizza

Pete, I wanted a Lope for the weighoff's in the fawl...I din't start a seed b/4 June!!! Several growin well!!! Obvious, I am a lot farther south than NJ, but hopefully have timed my lopes well!!! Time will tell!!! Dr. Vic, said ... start em late, to harvest em for weighoff time!!! Sorta think that Vic...led me correctly!!! If I wouldda had blossoms in July,(WAY HOT) I would knot have a lope growin!!! BTW, KY, growin season!!! PS...KGPG weighoff is on 9/17, I think....3rd Sat in Sept!!! Grow em BIG!!! Peace, Wayne
