Hi everyone I've been wanting to grow a big cantalope for a few years now and next year will be the year if I get a couple of seeds to try.I'm not neccessarily looking for a record setter, but today I saw a lope close to the size of a soccer ball and thought that was great.I don't know if I should buy that one and get the seeds from it,or is it possibly a hybrid and it would be a waste of time. Also, wondering if someone has put together something for beginners to read about the basics of growing giant lopes. The only thing I have for trade,if anyone is interested, would be seeds from 2 toms I grew this year. They're both "stump of the world" toms and they grew pretty good under the conditions we had this year.We had drought like conditions and watered the plants only 3 times and they grew well. One was 23.20 oz and the other was 15.65 oz. I think they have potential to get alot bigger and they are the tastiest tomato I've ever had so far. Thanks for reading and considering, Gene
