Cucumis melo `Tigger´ we pollinated with C. maxima Kabocha-style and got a round fruit with 1´ in diameter, wet, nutty tasting and sweet flesh, orange and green mottled skin and seed like cantaloupe´s one. I sent some to the USA and nosily wait for reports from there. We got very different fruits: bright orange, mottled, grey and all these flattened. One mottled fuit is only 6" long and 4" broad and lookes like an acorn pumpkin, but has no deep ripping. Seed of all varieties is no more tanned this year.
