I grew 3 cantaloupe this year for the first time ever. They are growing amazing and probably are at least 50lbs already, which is way more than I could have ever expected. How and where do I go to get an official weight when they get ripe? With the pumpkins we just go to a GPC weigh off, but Cantaloupe aren’t recognized by GPC and they most likely will be ripe prior to my local weigh off. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Weigh them on a certified scsle at your grocery store or someplace that has on take pics of all sides, and scale certification. Have 1 or 2 impartial witnesses. Incase it is a record.

Parks Garden Center. Have Tim or an employee certify the weight. Ohio record is 50.5#. Please post your results here. Good luck! Al Gibson (ovgpg member)
