Anyone know the record for tall corn in Ohio?
Or how about the world record? I think Norm Craven holds the world record, doesnt he?
I grew a Norm Craven Tall corn seed that is right around 17 to 18 ft (rough measurment) inches tall. I tried emailing Norm but I think his email has changed, I have no luck of getting a hold of em.

I believe the current WR is 31 feet and change held by Dan Radda, of Iowa grown in 1946.

Dont know what the record is here in Ohio, last year at the fair I had taken one in over 18 feet. And had another one finish later in the season in the garden at 20 feet and 6 inches.

I know that the tall tale came from Ohio! The farmer had 600 acres. 300 acres had cattle and 300 acres of corn. One day it was so hot the corn started popping and flew into the pasture where the cattle were. The cattle thought it was snowing and the entire heard froze to death!
