Anyone know of a good variety that grows fast, loves heat, and tastes fantastic?

Any variety that grows fast isn't the greatest eating . You need long season growth for quality .

Not sure about "grows fast", but does well here in the heat in KY., and the best "sweet" corn ever...IMHO...(from Gurney's) I think" is "Gotta Hav It"!!! Way good!!! Peace, Wayne
PS...first couple years on the market, I had germination problems (Gurney's replaced seeds for free), but this year approx 90% germination rate. Will be planting second set tomorrow!!!

Thanks everyone. I jumped the gun this year and planted my corn too soon...then a cold spell came and nothing germinated. My favorite is silver queen but it seems like it takes forever. I'll look for Gotta Hav It, Ambrosia and How Sweet it is. Thanks for the really fast responses.

A true good eating corm has to be at least as eighty day one to get the finest eating qualties . I have grown sweet corn ( 120 -150 acres per year ) for 40 years .
