I was thinking about putting my tall corn and sunflowers in tomorrow. Is it to early?

I planted my skyscraper corn it's doing good but I live in California, I don't think it likes frost, this is just my second year.

Recommendations for any corn seeds are 70F at 6" for corn to germinate at max level. Peace, Wayne
Thinkin sorta similar for sunflowers.
