Nothing in the ground yet, they are just coming out of the soil in the pots now.

Got one of my own in the ground but having the normal yellow spot issues on the first leaves. Any one know how to stop it. Have been very careful not to water much.

Epson salts has worked for me in the past or just wait a few weeks at most and it will just seem to go away.

I've just waited for the yellow spots to go, might have to try the epson salts trick this time.

hi guys....... welcome to the crazy pumpkin season! my missus is already groaning... but i know she likes me being at home..... better than the TAB.
am starting late this year, but will put up a full diary, to help and entertain pumpkin folks with ideas and experiments. i had huge problems last year, so i hope i have learn't something. wish all you fellow growers luck and calm weather. with the progress we have been making over the last few years.... someone in NZ should get a good shot at the record. 2 years ago i was on a high, last year, down ........ this year..... prepped and eager. boy!...... there must be something wrong with me...... eager for a big pumpkin?
good luck guys and gals!

Yep that is normal but you may have been a bit soon in tipping all your side vines unless it is a space thing. The more leaves you have the more energy the plant has to feed into pumpkin.
