I just spent an hour picking eggs and larvae off my plants. Only one was deep in the vine. Whats the best brand i can use to protect my plants the rest of the year. Im having neck surgery on Tuesday and wont be able to be in the patch for a while.

Merit if available, if not, you need a systemic cause you can't get all the eggs yourself. Hardware stores sell diluted brands with the same ingredient as Merit (Imidacloprid SP?). You'll need something to stop the larva once they get in the plant by chewing their way in. Good luck with that surgery.
