So what do most grows use as an average size for a fp plant? I'm gonna grow one this year.

personally I'd go with 200sqft.I keep blowing them to smithereens with 500sqft and i donot think they need to be heavily fertilized! Just my experience with fp

Agree with Donkin. I use around 200 to 300 sq ft.

Id be happy with 200sq feet. And they are much easier to grow in my opinion. However, field pumpkins have a lot harder time with powdery mildew than AGs in my yard.
