Yep...typically you have a 30-45 days of growth after pollination before they mature and stop. I think one of you ambitious types should put one on a stationary scale and record daily growth

I would tread carefully with watering, especially when you start to notice traces of orange.

Yes once you see a trace of orange you send out an order to the watering gods to only send 5ml instead of 50ml overnight so she doesnt split...
