does anyone know of a pumpkin vine safe post emergent herbicide? do you spray your field before planting? right after planting and before sprouting? what product do you use?

I use reflex and dual as a pre plant/preemergence herbicide on my commercial pumpkins and my AG’s. As far as I know there is no reliable post emergence spray.

If you want to kill grass exclusively, clethodim is supposed to work well for that purpose. I haven't sprayed it on any plants yet, but it does kill grass pretty well, and it's used by broadleaf farmers because it doesn't harm them

@agteacher, do you mix the reflex and dual in the same tank? Are they compatible or do you spray with one then re-spray with the other?
