This was our 1st GPC sanctioned event and was our best turnout to date. Would like to thank all the volunteers today- My wife Lesley for being the MC. Geraldine for running the front and recording all the data, and Craig Sandvik, Art carefoot,Jake vankooten,Ken kapps,Glenn dixon for all their help. Had a great day today after a cloudy start the skies opened up and had beautiful sunshine the rest of the way. Thanks again to Glenn and his wife for making the trek over from The north shore in Vancouver to support our event.

Congrats to all. I missed seeing Jake and Craig this year since they didn't make any of the PNWGPG contests, but it's good to see them doing well still even if they're staying closer to home. It's nice to see how you've grown your local contest there over the years as well. Maybe one day I'll bring a pumpkin there from Washington and join the fun.

I forgot to put a weight on Joan Eggen's pumpkin. It weighed 609lbs for 11th place at Nanaimo weighoff yesterday.
