all Pumpkins in NZ are weighed on donated scales at the various shows we hold however when we have a contender for a record the grower is encouraged to get a certified weight so it can be recognized.
There were about 30 pumpkins at the show and a great time was had by all. There were a number of new growers who are keen to get good seeds so we pointed them to BP so they will be appearing on the boards in the near future.
