There were also 2 exhibition pumpkins John Lobay 934 pounds Blossom end split - Won the Howard Dill Award. This was a nice looking pumpkin with a great shape. Matthew Elaschuk 87 pounds Grown Hydroponically

Hi Alan, I met you briefly in the parking lot and got a couple seeds from the Lobay pumpkin. Do you have any idea on the mother/father combo of that one? I know it's not your pumpkin but you seem to be pretty well connected. Thanks.

Thanks guys, it is always great fun there. Congrats to all who enter,it's tough growing here sometimes. Andy they added a field pumpkin class, I won with 145 off of my 137.4! Now if they had decided earlier there may have been more entries, I was only bringing mine to get an official weight. Next year.
