What a year for our local pumpkin grower Dale Marshall. Last week on 8/27 at the 14th Annual Alaska Midnight Sun Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Palmer at the Alaska State Fair. Dale entered his heaviest pumpkin yet weighing in at 2051 pounds! Excellent entry surpassing the 1 ton mark. He squashed his 2018 State Record of 1471.5 by a whopping 580 pounds!
