I would like to try growing these in my high tunnel in Alaska. Chris Kent says they are fun to grow. Who are the heavyhitters who have seeds I should be seeking? Without the GPC listing it is a little difficult to get a handle on the best seed. Thanks everyone.

I might have some seeds for you. My son and I grew 279.5 English world record seed and self pollinated it. It was in a shady spot with high ph and only made 71#. After it dries some we will get the seeds out. Send me an email around late November.

If I have seeds from my 135 (large seeded type) crossed with the 279.5 English (small seeded type) I'll post here after the weigh offs. The seeds sometimes are not fully developed due to a pretty short season. Hopefully it some good seeds as it should be a good vigorous cross and so far it looks pretty big. Weigh off Oct 3,4, or 8.
