Can you please let me know if you got my bushel gourd seeds? I just found your envelope with the letter and postage money that you sent me in an odd location and I'm not sure if I ever mailed the seeds out.

Hi Pumpkin shepherd.It was such a horrible wet cold spring, but luckily I was able to get 1 very strong plant going that you gave me seeds from.It was that cross you did from the large seed /small seed bushel gourd.I hope good things from it as it is over 5 feet long with multiple vines and extremely vibrant.It received pole position in the patch and gets a little extra attention.Will let you know how it progresses and wish to thank you again for the seed.

That's great hear. I have two plants on the go from that seed but they are both very different. One is vining out nicely and the other is staying bushy. Good luck with yours and I look forward to see what happens with this seed.

Well if I had too choose which of those I have,it is positively the viner.Wish I Had one of the bushy ones to compare with ,but very happy this one is thriving.Good luck !

Hi Pumpkin shepard, I have gotten one of your experimental 140's growing nicely. It started bushy but now has many vines running nicely. Have a 177 Westfall and 279.5 English also up and running. Whats your preferance to pollination?

I don't think you would go wrong with either one, but most of the really big ones have been grown off the 177.

Hi Pumpkin Shepherd !That plant went crazy !! covering 30x40 area and still going like a youngster.Tons of culls but have 2 nice sets going.One is about basketball size and other like softball.Great shape on both !Never saw such vibrancy before.When pumpkins next door failed it gladly took over that spot.Big one is 25 feet from stump and set perfectly sitting up.Hope for the best.Thanks,will let you know.
