Are thoZe nasty SBugZ a pain for BG's?

This was my first year growing BG's I did not see any bug damage at this time. But we will see next year. The leaves have a burnt hair smell when you rub them so I don't think the bugs like it yet.

Squash bugs love BG, they go to them first over melons. Not sure about pumpkins.

Bushel gourds are visited by squash bugs, but I've never had to spray to control their numbers or to limit plant damage. These plants are much easier to grow and care for compared to pumpkins. Give em a try!

Not a problem for me in 2017. Some cuke beetles but limited damage.
