What temperature do bushel gourds shut/slow down? I don’t know how long they will last in Minnesota in September/early October.

Bushel Gourds love warm days and nights. That being said, keep your gourd connected to the plant until the weigh off. If the gourd is mature, it should not be harmed by cold temps.

The 265.5 stopped growing about a week before the weigh off. It got most of its growth in September.

How old was the 265.5 when it quit growing?

What I’m worried about is the gourds will be about 86 DAP for the weigh off. Will they lose weight if they stop growing or would the cold slow there growth down?
