It was wayyyyy heavy by the AG chart(+25%) and the 270 Kent was way ,wayyyy heavier by the AG chart(+35%)

Yes the 279.5 English and 270 Kent were crazy heavy, I’m wondering if they have the same genetics in their lineage.

We have a couple of 229 English plants here(270 Kent x self).Soon find out i guess

The 279.5 English mother plant was the 177 Westfall. The 177 grew the 245.5 English which grew the 270 Kent. Virtually every giant bushel gourd grown in competition can be traced back to the 177 Westfall.
