This is the first year that I have been able to get a BG to the patch I have researched and read all the posts here it seems everyone pollinates on a secondary but I’m not exactly sure why I have females on the main of my 244 Butler plant is that just a fluke or do they grow better off a secondary

Go for it! Most of us don't pollinate the main's because they don't flower for us.

They set on the main. Ive grown a few on the main.

Ok thank you I’ll try to pollinate on the main then if they are still there at around 20 ft or so
