have two main vines should i cut one vine or leave them grow and leave one pumpkin on one of the vines????

Bushel gourd or pumpkin? The bushel gourds generally only throw females on their secondaries, so I dont how having two mains would help. In other words, I don't see any reason why you should not cut one of them off.

I mean, I would probably leave both, just for faster vegetative growth early on, but only keep 1 fruit, that's the general rule for all giant things.

Probably best to cut one of the mains for max weight of the fruit.
