Recovering from back surgery so have way to much time on my hands so it's learning time. Right now the 1998 is one of my top choices for orange 2017. I know it had 4 HD's but my question is did it throw any off colors?

10 pumpkins listed at pumpkinfanatic.com. Not a single picture. C'mon peeps, the aggc is gone, it's not that hard to submit a single pic. I have noticed the 1495 Stelts crosses throw a good # of orange ones. Cross the 1998 with anything you grew this year, you made some stellar orange crosses. Good luck on your recovery btw.

Had one white that started turning green... I don't think it will be a consistent orange producer

If you look at my diary from 10/13 it is the far right pumpkin in front of the house. Tom

I crossed it with the 1287 Swain which is also shown in the 10/13 diary.

Ag, I send some of my 979 Bayuk seeds with your winning bid from the Illinois auction as an extra . It is a 1998 Jutras self pollinated. I hope you have room for it. It was our sites Howard dill winner.

The one I grew last year was practically white, luck of the draw. But a great plant and went 10% heavy. Didn't take it to a GPC weigh off so didn't list it on pumpkinfanatic.
