It looks like Jacob and I may go all orange this year. My 748 and 1047.5, my Howard Dill winner and the seed that grew it. A couple of Engle seeds and one or 2 from the GPC President. Maybe start a couple of my 830's from last year, both parents of that were Howard Dill winners. Seems like the orange ones do better for us than the big ugly ones. Seeds go into the germination chamber this evening.

My 811 germinated. I’ll put it back into the 735 which 3 of the 4 grandparents came from actual HD winning plants and the fourth grandparent was a 2009 Wallace.

My current plan is to grow the 1317 Clementz and the 1912 Carter. If I crossed the two, the resulting seeds could have nice big and orange potential.

so far the 993 hasn't germinated yet. I am impatient. I did file and soak one of my own seeds last night as a back up. By Sunday I should know what I will be growing.

My best looking orange seedling is the 1399 Christensen.
Big green cotyledons arching out & 2 small bright green true leaves sticking up between them.

I have a 816 Gansert going that looks a bit funky on the 2nd leaf. I started a 1223 and 1044 Gansert as backups. Only keeping 1, on the other side of the patch is big n' ugly.

Weird how things turn out. My favorites failed to germ save one. So thank goodness for back ups. 1101 Northrup- 670 Daigle x 810 Dill HD winner, 642 Dill, HD award winner- 775 Berard x 1998 Jutras. All the rest are direct decendants of HD winners, 993 V/M, 575 Wolf and 670 Daigle. I like my chances.

Our 1501 Wagner seedling is actually our best looking seedling. We also have a 2150 Skinner and 2095 Brandt. We're thinking the 1501 x 2150 sounds pretty good.

Lots of good seeds germinated but my 811 Gerhardt and my seeds for the 811 remake -- 923 Gerhardt and 1332.5 Wolf were the only three from my first set that did not germinate. I guess my future with the 811 was not meant to be.

My 925 2 Eisenhaur sprouted look awesome the 1048 Engel right there also the 1495 Snyder first growth looks curly but might be seed trapped related. So far very happy with my choices
