Are we seeing the new "it" seed in the making? The growth is incredible.

Any other potentials out there? My 816 Gansert is looking to go red hopefully.

I believe you can spot the dark orange ones by day 12 or so just by their shade. What do you have going?

Don't know how big it is going to be but it sure looks good for shape and color if it holds up.

It is a great pumpkin. I hope he keeps it going to over a ton.

I have a good one going from one of Shannon's 1200 Engel seeds. www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=294105
470# on day 26, going 42# a day. Way bigger than anything I have ever grown. Just not nearly as good of shape as Mabel.

I think Shannon has the magic touch with the big and orange

shanno, I thought mabel was going to be the sure winner of the Stillwater Showdown. I am sad..that I cant see her in all her glory. Is she old enough that you can get viable seeds? My pumpkins are not growing good enough shape for me to have much chance this year. I hope to have a chance to talk orange with you this fall..i wonder what pumpkin you and I would choose as compared to the rest of the growers at stillwater.
