enjoyed doing the top 20 by weight research so did another one. This is what I have for HD Winners that also produced HD winners. I know there are probably several that I left off the list so help me fill in this list. 1. 1710 Steven/Hopkins 2015 ( 2058Hawkley x 1332 Midthun) 2.1561 Reeb 2014 — ( 1661.5 Werner x Self) 3.1538 Jutras 2015 — ( 1916 Barron x 1317 Clementz) 4.1374 Engel 2014 — ( 359 Foss x 1048 Engel) 5.1297.5 Young 2016 — (1912 Carter x 1000.5 Gansert) 6.1266 Jany 2013 — (1634 Werner x Self) 7.1223.5 Gansert 2016 — ( 777 Young x Open) 8.1211 Ailts 2018 — ( 1374 Engel x Self) 9.1157 Zaychkowsky 2018 — ( 575 Wolf x Self) 10.1146.5 Snyder 2016 — ( 2230.5 Wallace x 1463 Hoelke)

11.1002 (1001.5) Veitch 2015 — ( 1374 Engel x 732 Veitch) 12.975.5 Gansert 2015 — ( 1000.5 Gansert x 993 V/M) 13.942 Kampf 2011 — ( 1059 V/M x 802 Kurilich) 14.939.6 Karkos 2015 — ( 900 Gansert x 1143 Engel) 15.900 Gansert 2015 — ( 359 Foss x 993 V/M) 16.810 Veitch 2015 —( 1048 Engel x 732 Veitch) 17.754 SCHWEIGERT 2010 — ( 110 Schweigert x 993 V/M) 18.679 Janowick 2013 — ( 1495 STELTS x Self) 19.377 Zunino 2013 — ( 1059 V/M x 400 Zunino) also if there are any that don't belong let me know. For my operation this is a more useful list than top 20.

when I have my knee replacement end of march I plan on working on a list of what seeds have produced the most HD Winners.

923 Gerhardt 2009 is 434 Gerhardt x 603.5 Muller 811 Gerhardt is 923 Gerhardt x 1332 Wolf 1146 Snyder is 2230 Wallace x 1463 Hoelke. The 1463 pollinator plant also grew a HD winner, the 1495.5 Snyder, making the 1146 a true HDxHD cross. I just noticed that the 1146 is not in the pumpkinfanatic database. The 1146 won the HD at Altoona and the 1495.5 won at Doylestown.

1048 Engel 2012 was a HD winner and has one several. 359 Foss 2013 was a HD Winner.

A selfed 359 Foss grew my 1047.5 McWilliams, and the 1047.5 grew my 748 HD winner. So the 359 Foss has at least 1 "grandchild" HD winner. Strong orange genetics in the 359.

Shannon — thanks I didn’t have the 1048 listed as an HD winner. I will add it to the Winner and Producer list.

May not be able to wait until surgery to do the seed with the most HD winners list. Who will it be? 1059 V/M, 811 Gerhardt, 1317 Clementz, 1501 is trying to make a run for a current seed.

I meant to say that my 1047.5 was grown from a 359 and selfed.

The above list is only HD Winners whose seed also produced an HD winner. Hopefully I will get other lists ( seed with most HD winners, list of all HD Winners, and list of all HD Producers) will come later. Some of those lists may not come until next winter.

1501.5 Wagner? I don't know if this was an HD winner but look at the progeny. I don't see any opaque genetics here plus size potential ain't bad.

I have the 1501.5 as a HD producer but not an HD Winner. If that’s not correct let me know.

You are correct. 1501.5 has produced HDs but did not win it itself.

808 Grubbs and 331 Lilley both won HD off the 1501.5. Not sure if any other offspring have won or not.

Does anyone recall what year the first GPC official HD award was started? I think it was more of a local thing until around 2006-ish but I could be wrong.

2012 is the first HOWARD DILL dairy pages have found.. Know of seeds called HD winners before than. I would like to go back to 2010 when I’m work on a HD winners list but 2010 and 2011 could be a lot of work.
