Just wondering with few weigh offs and a one pumpkin per weigh off, could a person bring an exhibition pumpkin and be in on the HD?

Yep. It depends on the weighoff though. Here is the gpc answer: "If a site allows exhibition entries (EXH), these may qualify for the HD award." link to HDAW rules here.

I feel an exhibition is just that. Meaning it is not eligible for prize money or awards. There is no limit on exhibition pumpkins weighed

LJ, looking at your monster plant...i hope that is not going to be an exhibition. I am not sure where you are planning to weigh. I think you should be in the running for first in Rapid. The 1211 barely came in second to kevin marsh there. You can have many other choices. I would love to see it in stillwater, Joe Ailts needs some orange competition. Keep it healthy...I am excited about this one.

I will enter my largest for an Exhibition if I feel I have a shoe in for the HDA. Which I feel the 1040 Fehr will produce.

I could go either way on this except that this year there may only be 1/4 of the weighofffs and therefore it will be more challenging to visit multiple venues.
