Why would you put 3 times what you did? You already use a ton! Isn't this a couple pallets or more?

We’ve put on 6 pallets so one per 1200sqfr ish plant. Another couple of pallets per plant would open up our soil much better. We used to root our own chrysanthemum cuttings and it would probably be 40% perlite. For us we want really open soil for the very fine root hairs. The better the drainage the better the roots. Yes we would have to water more frequently but thats a good thing. It’s all about being in control.

Ian, do you have an analysis of your soil, that says how much% of clay, sand and silt it has? It would be interesting to know.
