Its from seeds Joe House donated to the seed exchange. I believe they are of mixed heritage, it must be partly 'glass gem' though... I dont know where else the true blue (low middle) would have come from.
I got a comprehensive range of corn genetics/traits/colors out of those seeds he sent.
A pure strain of glass gem corn would be a bit smaller and have more of the brilliant colors and fewer of the mixed/muted colors.
