Nothing like a seed catalogue in the good old days. We still have some old vintage ones going way back. They were the "Bible" of every gardener. Sad to see so many gone today.

Just checked a 1929 Rennie's seed catalogue from Canada, 120 pages! Beautiful artwork back then, they offered 2 types of giant pumpkins "JUMBO" cream color 175 lb. size and "MAMMOTH TOURS" green skin. A "TOM WATSON" melon around 35-40 lb. size. Also a "COLORADO CITRON" melon, small round type. Plus other types as well.

I agree we have one called diggers I get great pictures articles and information and they have huge collection of heirloom varieties
