Have fun Russ. Oregon is super competitive now. I hope the big plants give you big results... I do think the vine layout is very important. Its not the only factor, but in theory it could cost the pumpkin a few pounds if its done wrong. Like the thing where they started adding winglets to airplanes, you dont want to waste that extra bit of airflow/ phloem flow.

Russ, do you already have planned cross pollinations mapped out on all these plants or what will be the deciding factors on them? Thank you in advance, Randy

I normally wait to see if there is a really great plant compared to the others & then I use it for most of my pollinations.

Russ, where is the sunrise? I notice a big difference when you put the plants oriented to the sunrise.
