Don't start your own Washington State forest or whatever fire, lol---There was ONE house that did not burn amongst EVERY other house that did, in one article, probably 'With David Muir' on TV. It had a Stucco coating, metal roof, metal eaves of sorts and I've always felt that we are stupid as a species to build houses and everything out of...wood. Duuuhhhh... 'Oh, of course, we're gonna rebuild'. Good Luck. I realize that no one will or wants to ever move or do anything differently. How could even I, even? However, if building materials were flame-proof or at least like that ONE house, coated...eg

People either can learn or not learn... To rebuild with flammable materials seems like overdosing on hopium. As long as someone else keeps paying the bill, people will overdose on hopium again and again.
