Do you usually run your drip lines parallel with or perpendicular to your main vine?

They run parallel to the side vines

I'm kinda surprised you don't have to have them even closer considering your soil.

Watering overhead? Now that’s a very good question.
When we start to bury the vines we have two things in mind.
First and foremost we need some nice moisture to encourage those extra roots.
We also want to be adding all of our friendly bugs and bacteria.
Our plants are typically growing five ish feet in every direction every week. So with that in mind we water overhead, with all the good stuff once a week.
We water that five ish feet over the top by hand.
There is no need to water further into the plant because those roots are now hopefully on their way down into the soil where the drip irrigation will take over.
We want to keep that part of the plant dry on top of the soil for obvious reasons.
I’m going to miss you this year my friend Ian

I remember some growers in the past having wobbler sprinklers under canopy. What’s your thoughts

We prefer to have no water at all near the canopy, especially later on in the year.
