is it possible there was just the right combo of genetics. Like a mutant or sport of an apple?

That is the most apetizing giant watermelon I have ever seen. It has really deep red flesh and almost no hollow heart.

That looks like real good eating. I would have gladly plucked the seeds out for you if you'd of let me see how much i could have put away.

You're right, I've never seen such a red and sweet watermelon of this size, it didn't have a hollow heart, I broke it when I pushed the watermelon, since I couldn't cut all the watermelon with the knife, in this video you can see how the piece falls from the centre to the table. https://www.tiktok.com/@reydelascalabazas/video/7451849738560818464 I will practically run out of seeds this year, I have given many, many, and I will also take Green Bay if anyone wants they can ask me there.

Your watermelon wasn't grafted! This could have also played an important role!

Its posible Eduard, But here in Spain, Poti doesn't have grafts either and the colour of the flesh is more pink, it's not red. I think it's the combination of little irrigation, high temperatures, and a lot of sun.
