Very true and the odds of winning any contest getting slimmer with each year passing. As they say "farming is one of the biggest gamble's out there", always has been. We see it every year in places unfortunately. However at one time we had this idea of a "pumpkin pool"? Basically group 3 or 4 random growers from around the World in a lot and have as many lots as possible. The Lot of growers with the heaviest pumpkins/squash at end of season the winner. Have a 1st, 2nd and third $ awards. $20 per entry, split it amongst top 3 winners. IDK definitely would take up someone's time and effort for sure. And maybe this cold winter is getting the best of us too much idle time lol. Oh and I would certainly not be putting Stelts, Werner, Gienger and Paton for example in same lot! And no NFL officials!

LOL! Definitely ready for spring here too. Although I still have a lot of tasks to get done here before, things get crazy in the spring.
