You can use 3% with ease - forget the diluting it - we would not dilute 3% to put it on a cut; I have used H2O2 to even hydrate the SS Mix, Myco and all and it turns into a 'Muffin', lol, to be shown another day - It is in my Diary, somewhere.
Glad to see your temp. is approaching my recommended of 88-92 or higher; Folks need to ask 'Would my seed die if I put it under my tongue, and would it germinate?' No and yes! Well, I think it'd germ. Lol. 3% 'til fizzing stops - it is hardly perceptible in any setup other than 2 shot/same-sized glasses with H2O2 and the seed in-between for ME at one's discretion/3-4 hours. Overnight in extreme-black-mold and 'these seeds were free, anyway' situations. I may toss a Gerry seed into a H2O2 SS Mix cup right now;

That's sweet- hope you can figure out the mold issue..if you have an unused crockpot it works really well to heat up an entire grow tent/closet for germination. Big fan of MacGyverism
