EDITED (**): I (maybe also) thought this was a tomato plant at first and third glance, lol. Since I have not used any seaweed product in years and yet hAvE seen this on my AGs occasionally, it is probably a double-vining *(gene?)* or characteristic of the plant, ALTHOUGH many plants' characteristics are brought about BY their environment to begin with. I have a seed of my own that 1 in 3 of is a ribbon-viner, which I think is really cool, not brought about by its environment; I say 'Hey, two (even 5 or 6!) for the price of one!' ...always good. Well, maybe not in any OTHER aspect, lol. Normalcy is good. eg

Your spermatophyte is growing in a pot next to a window with snow outside. Its trying to reproduce quickly before it passes on :-/

I agree its trying to get a fruit set before it dies so the seeds regrow into more its a natural instinct

Not exactly, Maurice, but 5 or 6 fruits that I pollinated within about 1.5 feet due to the ribbon-vining of my plant, which I need to present in my Diary but never 'got around to' as I have to literally 'cable-transfer' (USB) my pics (pictures) into my desktop before I can put them on here. Umm, so, nothing to worry about and yes, it could be from any plant's particular circumstance, including, as has been said, perhaps stress, but not in my plant's case, here. Hmmm... A little project I can do quickly...Yay... >>>Well, an hour later, lol...see all four new entries, if you'd like---eg https://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=357525
