I have a 300+ pumpkin growing only 3 feet from the main root. Its only growing about 1 inch a day now total. But i have another one about 12 feet out on the same vine growing 6 inches a day its 189 total inches the other one measures 247. If icut the small one off think the bigger one will grow faster or is it too late.

I am in no way an expert but with sizes achieved already there doesn't seem to be much competition between the two. I would insure the proper moisture on a consistent basis. If the one stops growing for 2 weeks I might consider harvesting however if it isn't growing it isn't likely stealing water from the other. How's that for a Clinton type answer. My thoughts go to risks of leaving on: animals, fungus etc. While you have a dilemma, it's one many of wish we had.
