What has been sprayed on those leaves? How has the temperature been? Drought or good soil moisture?

nothing sprayed, it gets water every dday, with soaker hose, highest temp has been 90,,,nothing has changed

Are the leaves that are yellow/browning near the crown/stump? If so, how old are the plants? It might just be old age on the early leaves on the plant. I am new at this too, but the leaves only survive for so long...especially in high temps. Just an idea to think about. Peace Wayne
P.S. Sort of curious about temp. comparisons from San Jose to Owensboro...mid 90's here lately.

I shouldn't have said I spray nothing, I spray neem about once a week, BUT it had been a week before the pic since I had sprayed.

and yes it is all the older leaves that are turning like this, the new ones look great, hasn't been over 90 here and will continue to be between 83 to 91 for the next 10 days

Martin has a good point. Hold a whiet sheet of paper under a leaf. Tap the top of the leaf (at midvane) to dislodge Mite. Hold the paper very still in bright light. Watch what appears to be dust specks. Are any of the "specks" moving?

Check also that the soil isn't too wet. Use a pencil, coring tool or similar to determine if the soakers aren't running too often. I have never had need for daily soakers here on our sandy loam & cannot imagine this would ever be necessary on a 5%+ OM soil.

Santa Cruz, CA

I've got some leaves like that here in Santa Cruz. I'm not spraying anything but Neem oil eather. I try to keep the oil to the bottom of the leaves. It doesn't seem like they are the oldest leaves having the problem. I'll try and see if they are spider mites when I visit the patch tonight.
