Stem side of pumpkin has a split right of the stem. It's 2" long 1/2 wide 1/2 deep treated with Captan a few day's ago it helped a little,so I scraped it out, sprayed Doconil in the wound, and have a fan on it now drying. Now what can I do? Help needed! Thanks

Some people use latex caulk as a bandage over the split. It worked for me last year. There is some good information on on cracl heaking on the How To link on the Big Pumpkins homepage.
