Do you have the room for a chainlink kennel?

Jeff, My experience is " He won't leave them alone" and will do it again. Last year my dog pawed at all my pumpkins scratching them up pretty good, walked through the patch breaking many leaves , crushing stems and dug a few holes.

My solution? " Fido shock ". It’s a little box you plug in and attach to an electric fence. The box cost about $20. Also you will need a grounding rod, some plastic post and wire. Total investment was around $60.
The best thing about it is, once the dog gets a few zaps he becomes wire trained and won't go the fence.
On the down side when I take my dog for a walk I have a hell of a time trying to get her to go under barb wire fences LOL

Try the invisible fence around the garden!

I've tried the invisible fence and they are a rip. They cost way to much, time consuming to install and don't work( for my dog anyways). Once the dog goes past it he won't come back. She would then go back through it about once every 3 weeks.

I just saw something similiar this past week at the beach..Its a shock collar,,,and you have a box which you can zap your dog..Only problem with that is ya gotta catch him doing it to zap him...

I have the zap collar, works great after you catch them once or twice, then the 30 sec delay beep does the job & by that time, whatever you are stopping them from doing doesn't look that good anymore. Worked on my Dobe

Mine was bought in the US. $300 It has a range of 1/4 mile & the zap button is small & easy to conceal from dog's sight. Model ET-101, made by Innotek Pet Products of Garrett, IN. 46738, Phone 800-826-5527. I no longer use the Zap setting, when he hears the beep; he turn's & comes quickly.
