Anyone ever use castor beans for mole protection?? They make a huge very pretty plant. The 75+year old neighbor said his mother used to plant them to keep moles away. Any thoughts??

We plant castor beans in the flower garden. I don't know if they work or not..They grow huge..The flower garden doesn't seem to have moles..One thing I know is Castor Beans are deadly...Ricin is in the seeds.

I beleive the CIA use ricin in a assasination. I think it took the better part of a day to kill the guy. Ricin is deadly stuff.
