will moth balls help control vine borers ?

Insidious(sic) little buggers...fly in, lay the eggs on the vine when they hatch they bore right in...you got worms in the vine!
I guess if you can hit the flying sucker with a moth ball and kill it. Just kidding Blkjk...lotsa posts for knockdown and systemics on here..I prefer the systemic..when the larva start chewing they're getting a letal dose.

If using Admire; timing it comes into play since it is a systemic. You must also increase the dosage since Admire is for mostly controlling cuke beetles.

Warrior T is great as a contact spray but if you can not find it try triazicide. Same chemical but % is different.
